SALLY BEAUTY AND THE NCA PARTNER
TO AWARD $10,000 IN SCHOLARSHIPS
Sally Beauty recently announced the recipients of the ten Sally Scholarships for 2006 at the Chicago Midwest Beauty Show. A team of NCA professionals selected the talented individuals who will each receive $1,000 for their education.
Since 1992, Sally has been committed to supporting the beauty industry by providing seed monies to recent high school graduates for cosmetology school. To date, Sally Beauty has awarded over $140,000 in scholarships to deserving salon professional students.
This year, opportunities for scholarships fall into three categories. Three awards are for continuing education for a salon professional, two prizes are to fund post secondary education for children or grandchildren of NCA members, and as in the past, the remaining five awards are for high school graduates under the age of 25.
