JOHN GOLLIHER NAMED PRESIDENT OF BEAUTY SYSTEMS GROUP, TOM DOBRZYKOWSKI NAMED VICE PRESIDENT
Sally Beauty Company, Inc. recently announced the promotion of John Golliher to President of Beauty Systems Group (BSG), excluding Armstrong McCall. Golliher brings more than 30 years of experience in the Full Service beauty industry to his new role. Mr. Golliher will report to Gary Winterhalter, President, Sally Beauty Company.
Most recently, Mr. Golliher served as Vice President and General Manager of West Coast Beauty Systems, which was acquired by BSG in December 2003. Before his assignment at West Coast, Golliher was the Vice President of Full Service Sales for BSG and, prior to that, he was General Manager of Heil Beauty Systems. Heil was acquired by BSG in October 1999.
In 1975 Mr. Golliher began his employment with Heil, headquartered in Paducah, Kentucky. He quickly advanced to Field Sales Consultant, Director of the Store Division and in 1982 assumed the role of General Manager. Mr. Golliher graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Med. Mr. Golliher will be officed at the Worldwide Support Center in Denton, Texas.
An additional internal promotion at Beauty Systems Group is the appointment of Tom Dobrzykowski to Vice President, BSG Finance, a new position for the company.
Most recently, Mr. Dobrzykowski served as Vice President, Finance for West Coast Beauty Systems. Prior to the acquisition in 2003, he was the Chief Financial Officer of West Coast.
Mr. Dobrzykowski served as the VP Strategic Development for Davidson Beauty Systems during 2002 and the Chief Financial Officer of Davidson from 1996 through 2001. Davidson was acquired by BSG in June 2000. Before joining Davidson, he was Chief Financial Officer of North American Beauty Services from 1987 to 1995.
Mr. Dobrzykowski graduated from the University of Baltimore with a B.S. Accounting in 1976, completed his C.P.A in 1979, and received his M.B.A. from Loyola College, Baltimore in 1987. Mr. Dobrzykowski will also be officed at the Worldwide Support Center in Denton and will report to Mr. Golliher.
