NCA and Sally Beauty Award Beauty Scholarships
The National Cosmetology Association (NCA) has partnered with Sally Beauty Supply LLC to present 10 deserving individuals with cash scholarships. The 2008 Sally Beauty Excel Scholarships awarded a total of $10,000 in three categories: five awards to high school graduates under the age of 26 to fund cosmetology education; three awards to salon professionals for continuing education; and two awards to children or grandchildren of NCA members to fund post-secondary education.
The 2008 winners of a $1,000 scholarship are:

A committee of NCA members selected the students and professionals from more than 150 applicants. “The NCA believes that education is the foundation for success and a long career,” says Marlene Bridge, NCA President. “We are proud to partner with Sally Beauty to support these outstanding students and salon professionals as they pursue their dreams.”
